Caz McGovern is an award winning filmmaker and writer based in London, England. In 2017 she launched C.M Video Arts, a freelance video editing business. Under this brand, she has managed post production for companies in communications, fashion and publishing. Some of her clients have included Google, New York Magazine, Becaris Publishing and The United Nations. ​

She has also worked as a screenwriter, content manager, videographer and website designer for independent artists and small businesses based in both London and New York City. 

 

Caz's short film They Don't Leave  made waves on the 2023 festival circuit, screening at 15 festivals and winning four Best Suspense Short awards. It was also financially backed by The Big Sky Film Grant. It is now streaming on Amazon Prime and YouTube.

Her neo-noir thriller The Stray—featured on The Black List—has placed highly in multiple screenwriting competitions. A recipient of The Denis Diderot Artist Residency Grant, The Stray has been described as a fresh, cinematic take on the genre."
